Push The Boat Out: come sailing with the OASC

Sunday May 26th from 1pm

OASC: PTBO 2018 Push the Boat Out is a nationwide annual event organised by the RYA: anyone can visit their local sailing club and try sailing. Could it be the sport for you?

Ouse Amateur Sailing Club sail on the Relief Channel at Saddlebow. This is safe, fresh non-tidal water, where we can sail whenever we like and it's ideal for beginners and experts alike. We have a clubhouse with good facilities, secure dinghy park, big grassy area to rig boats and park cars, and two rescue boats. The Push the Boat Out event will be running from 1pm to 4pm and club members will be on hand to welcome you, chat, sail and offer tea and coffee. If you are intending to sail please wear clothes and shoes that'll keep you warm enough out of doors and won't mind getting damp to soaking: we'll provide the buoyancy aids!

Although the Push the Boat Out event officially starts at 1pm, we'll be running our regular Sunday morning racing from 10.30am 10.00am (exceptionally!): please feel free to turn up during the morning if you'd like to see what goes on.
